February 27th: I hate resumes

Day 42, 11PM: There I sit. It’s been hours now and it still is far from being done. After spending since 3PM working on my resume and cover letter, I finally get the first job applied for. Now for the next four…

So as you might have gathered, I procrastinated again. My goal was to apply to internships by the 14^th of February. Today is the 27^th. I fail. It’s not all bad though, my old resume wasn’t very good or well organized. After working on it for the past three weeks I’m finally proud to call it my own. So today I’ve been sitting here and finishing my resume (with the generous help of my father who has been providing feedback through the process) and now it’s time to apply for all those good summer internships. Unfortunately, tomorrow I leave for Thailand right after class, so I have no time to work on it then. In the end my furious work ended at 4AM… and I got to wake up at 9AM the next day… lucky me.

*Note to self: do not repeat this experience.
